Rays of Hope started operating in 1991 and has grown into a network of community-based programmes, focusing on education, orphaned and vulnerable children, as well as work readiness. The organisation is hands-on and has developed close relationships with community leaders, the police, high schools, Alexandra Clinic and the Department of Social Development. This has enabled Rays of Hope to leverage appropriate assistance when necessary and positively impact thousands of people.
