Joseph Tumahole - AEC Wang

Joseph’s story

“I started my business in 2019 by selling hand made bracelets and necklaces to buy a domestic machine.  I was able to buy two industrial machines that kinda make me proud because I couldn’t afford to buy anything before. I am a fashion designer who creates and sells clothing.”

The impact of COVID and the looting

“Ok they didn’t loot at my business but they looted where I buy stock in Johannesburg so I couldn’t buy fabric, cotton and needles. It’s a challenge changing fabric textures and prices so since then I have been waiting for them to stock tracksuit materials and denim materials.”
