Louise Cameron has been with Rays of Hope and more specifically has managed Rose-Act Saturday school for 17 years. She comes with a background as a teacher with over 35 years’ experience. She has seen Rose-Act grow from strength to strength as well as going through numerous changes over the years, as new programmes have been introduced and ideas followed through.

She is supported by a committee, which includes several alumni. For the first time in 12 years, Louise is now assisted by Nomazizi Rajuili on a Saturday morning. Her committee are also there, which is made up of young people of varying ages, who wish to give back to their community and make a difference in our current learners’ lives, as was made in their lives.

Louise originates from Australia and has been in South Africa for 17 years. She is due to retire at the end of 2019, but she will leave behind many changed lives and special relationships.
