Rays of Hope extends a huge thank you to global logistics and mobility group, Super Group, for its ongoing involvement in the Alexandra Township community.

Super Group has been a long-time donor and partner for Rays of Hope, having donated two mini-busses every year for the past number of years, which are used to transport children who are part of Rays of Hope’s various programmes. During lockdown in 2020, these vehicles formed the backbone of the food distribution work that provided food hampers to thousands of the most vulnerable people.

“Like Rays of Hope, we are determined to impact the environments within which we operate in a tangible and meaningful way, and we believe strongly in the power of partnership to transform lives for the better,” says Mackay. “Super Group is proud and privileged to be part of the journey from vulnerability to independence that their work makes possible for so many.”

Recently, Super Group also donated 360 boxes of sanitisers and six huge boxes of surgical face masks to keep our staff and visitors in Alex safe during the third wave of COVID-19 infections in SA.

“Super Group is proud to combine efforts with Rays of Hope in the fight against COVID-19. It is in our interest, as a company and as individuals, to do everything possible to stop the spread of the virus and to flatten the curve,” says John Mackay, Group Company Secretary, Super Group.
