Rays of Hope recently received a donation of laptops to complete our computer lab from our long-time partner, SAP Software & Solutions, a global tech and business solutions company. Through the help of Siyafunda CTC, an organisation dedicated to delivering much-needed ICT skills to marginalised communities across the country, learners will also have access to a full-time tutor who will be based at the centre and available for lessons, guidance and support.
Both SAP and Siyafunda recently spent some time teaching our learners about coding, as well as planting trees for the community, painting and packaging food parcels for our beneficiaries, in the spirit of Mandela Day.
“A big thank you to SAP and Siyafunda for this incredible contribution,” says Rays of Hope’s Tracey Peppler. “It’s through contributions like these that we are better able to meet our goal of bringing change that is sustainable for the people of Alex, and that will stand to serve the community for many years to come.”
