by Editorial Team / Tuesday, 22 October 2024 / Published in News ROH

Are you passionate about education and eager to make a positive impact in the lives of young learners? Rays of Hope is looking for enthusiastic volunteer tutors to join our Rose Act Saturday Programme! This initiative supports learners from Alexandra Township in improving their Mathematics and English skills.

Held every Saturday, the Rose Act programme provides a safe, nurturing environment where learners from Alexandra can receive additional support in their studies. The focus is on Mathematics and English, two critical subjects that are essential for their academic success.

If you have a heart for teaching and want to contribute to the development of young minds, we invite you to become a volunteer tutor. You don’t need to be a professional educator; all you need is:

  • A good grasp of Mathematics or English
  • The ability to commit a few hours on Saturdays
  • A passion for helping learners reach their full potential

Why Volunteer with Us?

  • Make a tangible difference in the lives of young people
  • Gain valuable experience in education and community service
  • Connect with like-minded individuals who are dedicated to making a positive impact

Interested in Joining Us? To apply or learn more, please email Siphokazi Thami at siphokazi@raysofhope.co.za. Let’s work together to empower the next generation through education.
